Windows Server Exchange

The nep-windows-server-exchange provides the monitoring of Windows Server Exchange.

Using the provided objects, is possible to check:

  • Service Exchange Diagnostics Status

  • Service Exchange FrontEnd Transport Status

  • Service Exchange HM Status

  • Service Exchange Unified Messaging Call Router Status

  • Exchange PS FullBackup Status

  • Exchange PS Incremental Backup Status

  • Exchange PS Mailbox Health Status

  • Exchange PS QueueHealth Status

Minimum supported environment

This package can be installed on systems running the software described below. Systems with equivalent components are also suitable for installation.

Package requirements

Service and Host Template shipped with package nep-windows-server-exchange require the following nep:

  • nep-common

Setup instructions

To setup Package nep-windows-server-exchange, just use the Setup Utility:

nep-setup install nep-windows-server-exchange

These scripts must be downloaded on every Windows Exchange Server at path C:\Scripts\NetEye\

  • Exchange_FullBackupMonitoring.ps1

  • Exchange_IncrementalBackupMonitoring.ps1

  • Exchange_MailboxHealth.ps1

  • Exchange_QueueHealth.ps1

The following variables had to be set on the environment

[NX] Exchange Role List:

  • Client Access Server (cas)

  • Mailbox Server (mailbox)

Director Objects

Director Objects are Objects created (or imported) into Icinga Director. This package contains the following Director Objects:

Data Lists The following Data Lists can be freely customized by the End User. Their purpose is to provide easy data filling to better describe the monitoring environment.
