NEP Network Dell iDRAC

The nep-network-dell-idrac provides the minimum requirements to implement a basic monitoring of a iDRAC using SNMP protocol. With nep-network-dell-idrac it is possible to perform standard monitoring of:

  • All Base monitoring DELL iDRAC

Using the provided objects, is possible to:

  • HW Temperature

  • HW Memory

  • HW Power Supplies

  • HW Fans

  • HW Power Redundancy

  • HW Disks

  • HW Raid

  • HW Battery

  • HW Overview

Minimum supported environment

This package can be installed on systems running the software described below. Systems with equivalent components are also suitable for installation.

Package requirements

Service and Host Template shipped with package nep-network-dell-idrac require the following nep:

  • nep-common

  • nep-network-base

Setup instructions

To manually setup Package nep-network-dell-idrac, follow instructions contained into manual-setup.md on the nep-common Package. Once installed the following custom variables should be set:

  • nx_hardware_vendor = Dell

  • host_os = iDRAC
